Were you in a car accident?

Whether you were going 10mph or 100mph, a car accident can cause serious injuries. If you were recently in a car accident, it is likely that you suffered at least mild spinal ligament irritation/damage. Often the pain will not become severe until a day or two after the accident. Sometimes it takes a few weeks before you fully feel the extent of the injuries.

If you were not at fault, your care is likely fully covered. You won’t have to pay for any examination, x-ray, treatments, or reporting.

It is extremely important to have your injuries analyzed regardless of how intense the pain is. The main concern is a ligament injury. Once you stretch the ligaments that hold the spine together, it can create a pattern of chronic instability that may last for many years. Often you won’t know immediately how long these injuries will last or that they are even present. We also need to be sure that a fracture was not missed or that a bulging disc/herniation was not created during the accident. We will shoot detailed x-rays during your examination that will help us determine the severity of your injuries.

These injuries can occur anywhere in your spine, but we also analyze all injuries within your extremities (arms and legs) as well. We perform detailed orthopedic testing on all knee ligaments, meniscus injuries, hand/finger injuries, and ankle injuries.
